Therapy at DMD Talking Therapies can benefit anyone who is struggling with anxiety and/or depression. Those looking to improve their overall mental health and well-being. I work with clients from 18 years of age.
You may not wish to tell me everything at your first appointment and this is okay and understandable. During the first appointment it is important for me to gain an understanding of your main reasons for seeking therapy and we can go from there.
For trauma work I recommend weekly appointments initially. Once you have learned skills to cope with a level of distress between sessions, then we can move to fortnightly appointments if you feel that would work better for you. I would not recommend longer than fortnightly between therapy appointments, unless of course, for holidays, life events, etc.
